Buffalo Rally - 19-21 March 2010 - Mosselbay
It's "Buff" time again, and the usually Buffers will be there again this year.
1. Willie le Hanie,
2. Etienne Van Der Stockt,
3. Pauli Massyn,
4. Mike Hennessy,
5. Deon and Basiliki,
6. Shaun,
7. Colin King,
8. Bruno.
Let us know should you like to join us?
PS - I'd rather be Buffing!

Re: Buffalo Rally - 19-21 March 2010 - Mosselbay
Not sure who all from the club is going besides the list above?
Myself, Dorothy and Wahl are doing the train thing down and back and should be at the rally site by about 10am on the Thursday.
Believe they not allowing people to reserve space but we will try to get our 'usual' spot by spreading the bikes and tents around a bit.
...however you can only spread three bikes and two tents so far without others moving in.
Who is going to be joining the 'group' for camping so we can try to keep enough space?
What time will others be there to help keep space??
Please post names and arrival times.

Seems you are going to have a nice one again - enjoy the ride down - albeit in leisure mode and last but not least - enjoy the riding at the Buff. Will again join you at a Buff in the future - depending on leve planning and availability.

Re: Buffalo Rally - 19-21 March 2010 - Mosselbay
I am going to the Buff, but due to the 'leave factor', can only get away on Thursday morning.
Dave, if you could park your bike sideways and keep me a spot, that would be great!!
Maybe this will be 3rd time lucky????

...and what time do you estimate your arrival to be?
Will be probably be able to sit around and keep some space on Thursday, but Friday morning we are going for a ride and am certainly not going to sit around waiting for people to arrive. We will only be back from the ride around lunch time so hopefully by Friday morning there will be some others there to look after the spot.

...and what time do you estimate your arrival to be?
I will be in MB at ± 11h00.
I understand it will be difficult to keep a place, so I will find one when I get there.
Should be early enough to get a decent spot.

Re: Buffalo Rally - 19-21 March 2010 - Mosselbay
Seeing that you are leaving on the Thursday why not travel with us. At the last talk we had at the club we were going to leave on Thursday morning sparrows fart and camp on the Buff site that night. If we leave 04h00 we will be there as 17h00 (me and the wife did it in December in 13 hours)MichaelW wrote:...and what time do you estimate your arrival to be?

I will unfortunately not be able to leave that early, need to drop off stuff at work before I leave.
Will probably only leave at around 7h30 on Thursday, arriving in MB at ± 11h00 on Friday.
Already booked and paid for accommodation in Graaff-Reinet.

Received our tickets in the post today - 498 + 499.
The highest entry numbers we have ever had - guess that is what happens when you decide to go at the last minute!

Wahl, Dorothy and I should be there on Thursday between 10 and 11am.
If we there before you will try for our usual spot with the sea breeze and view.
