Bulls fans....

The University of Pretoria decided to honour Morne Steyn’s contribution to the Bulls success by awarding him an honorary doctorate. The academic awards committee insisted that he at least demonstrate some academic ability by answering one simple question.

So this last weekend, Loftus was packed to the rafters with Bulls fans. A stand was erected at the centre of the field, and the entire academic faculty was present in their finery. The Chancellor called Morne to the stand, and told him that he was to receive an honorary doctorate, as long as he could correctly answer one question.

The crowd went silent as the Chancellor said “Mnr. Steyn, hoeveel is twee plus twee?”

Morne stood and thought, then started counting on his fingers. Eventually, he responded” Dis vier, oom”.

For a moment the crowd was silent, and then, as one, they all shouted…………….

“Gee hom nog ‘n kans!”
