Re: Toy Run - 29 November
It seems there are two venues for the Gauteng Bikers:
Carousel in the north and Nasrec in the south.
Any interest?

Pretty sure it is a venue:
Far North

Will confirm with the organisers though.

Re: Toy Run - 29 November
Hi guys, I contacted them and this was the reply:
There are 2 end venues for the road rides around the ‘rand.
The one you refer to is for the Pta ride as they are not heading to Jhb this year thanks to the road construction and its inherent dangers for such large groups. The organisers in Pta have arranged a phenomenal end venue with tons of entertainment courtesy of the casino sponsorship.
There is another end venue for the offroaders in Jhb, just to add to the confusion. That’s known as dirt broncos’ in case you hear of it.
Regards
Graeme Cartwright
Carousel is one of the end venues, but unfortunately they don't have a lot of information on what is available or arranged at the venue.

Re: Toy Run - 29 November
As a club, perhaps any arrangements to join-up for the ride? What is the general view, JHB or Warmbaths?
I think that Warmbaths will be a more pleasant ride

Re: Toy Run - 29 November
Agree.
I vote for going north as well.
- Shall we gather at Atterbury Shell 7:30 and leave for Colonnade at 8:00?
Remember your toy!
Of course those staying in the south of Pretoria can go south if they so prefer,
but let's unite?

I will check with minister of internal affairs. If she's fine with it, I'll be there!

Remember toys for kiddies - barbie dolls, teddies, soccer balls etc. - a toy serves as your entry fee!
