The Bantam & the Bike Empty Re: The Bantam & the Bike

Post by Sias 28th October 2009, 14:01

Long story short: Monday morning at 7h45. A lady in a Bantam using her indicator to indicate that she has now started turning right into a driveway just as I started to pass her. Luckily I was standing (because of a speed bump coming up) so I flew over the bakkie, flipped over and fell on my backpack. Only spraining my right ankle somehow. Bike damages amounting to R30 000. I doubt that the bakkie would cost more than R8 000 to fix.

All in all a very lucky accident for me personally. I’m sure it would have been a different story had I been sitting down at the time of impact. Now the wait for the bike to be fixed… bounce Evil or Very Mad
