GET-AWAY-FROM-HOME-TO-THE GETAWAY: Sunday 13 Sept 2009
The Getaway Show is on again this coming weekend at the Coca-Cola Dome in Randburg.
Can we arrange an informal breakie run and look at all the new and old stuff during the morning?
Suggest we meet again at Atterbury Shell at 09h00 and arrive at the gates around 10h00. The Randburg guys can meet us maybe at the gates, but then you will loose out on a nice ride.
Let's hear how you feel

Suggest that we do not stop over at Irene Dairy Farm on the way back......

Pity no ride as it is 5 mins from home.
May have to do a quick Magalies Wimpy breakfast before.( see the Jamie & Stienie clan there - usually )
See you guys at the Dome.

Thanks guys 'n gals, that was fun!
As with all Expo's, nothing was really cheaper than buying from the dealers, but that is all part of the experience isn't it?????
Roll on the 'Outdoor Expo'!!!!!!!?

....still fail to see the problem:
'...the general language of this forum is English' - complies with this one!
and this one...
'...No defamatory, racist, hateful, overtly sexual, obscene or illegal content is allowed '
this one too:
'Use common sense - we want to keep this forum suitable for our families to read'
...but I think I found the problem - this is what you are referring to hey!!!
'Use your own words. If you do wish to use the words of somebody else, please clearly quote them, citing the source'
That's it - I didn't use my own words!!!!!

Re: GET-AWAY-FROM-HOME-TO-THE GETAWAY: Sunday 13 Sept 2009
I may be totally confused here.
Aren't you referring to an expo that is widely published in the media that will be taking place at Gallagher in the near future? I believe it is called the 'Sexpo'? I have no idea what this is all about but, if the word 'sexpo' is unacceptable then 'Gallagher' should be too?

Re: GET-AWAY-FROM-HOME-TO-THE GETAWAY: Sunday 13 Sept 2009
Ya... I saw a massive sign next to the N1 advertising the Sexpo. I'm actually driving a different road, but stuff like that grabs my attention and makes me a danger on the road...
Other than that, I don't see much harm in it. Although I'd much rather spend time on my bike than walk past exhibitor after exhibitor (or is that exhibitionist?) with the same stuff for sale - I mean really - how much could there be???
It's probably evident that I haven't been to a sexpo yet. Too much riding to do!!!!

Without the brush part - i believe. Heard about it and saw a incert on Carte Blanche - wondered about the quality of the painting tools - seeing as he was up and about the whole day doing his thing??????
