The reason you need to visit your snail-mail box often is so that, like in my case, you dont find your speeding fine 34 days after date of issue and forfeit the 50% discount when you pay after 32 days Sad Shocked

Having made peace that I will pay full price, I went to the Post Office yesterday. Wanted to pay by credit card, which they didn't accept, so had to go to the OTM, drew the acsh, wnet back to pay, she only charged me the half-price fine !! Seems the 32 days is a flexible date ... Smile Smile
