1200 GS Headlight
I have a 2007 1200 GS and since I bought it, brand new, have replaced the headlight now 6 times.
Is there anything wrong with it, or do I need to do something to stop this. Twice now it went while driving at night.

Re: 1200 GS Headlight
I too have had to replace headlights twice in four months!
It has been the dipped beam on both occasions - probably because this is the one that is on all the time...?

Have never had to replace healights on this or previous adventure - but then again I have HID's fitted.

Re: 1200 GS Headlight
My headlight also went... going down Bezuidenhouds pass - which could be expected. It lasted 18000km...
I think I'll go for the HID's next time around - saw Marius & Dani's bikes this evening and they just... SHINE!

Re: 1200 GS Headlight
Ok maybe I must try them, the HID's. Where can I get some of them?

Contact Pauli Massyn (GSing) here on the forum. He will sort you out with all the goodies for your bike.

Don't go there! You will ride away a poorer man - the guy's service outweighs his products, so you'll end up cleaning out his warehouse!

Re: 1200 GS Headlight
Marius also lost his globe (ag his 1200's globe) during the Sani trip.
Pauli replaced it with HID's - it's as if a new world opens up at night!
Waiting for the brackets for spots (on the 800GS) - any comments?
