The Toll Inn - Aliwal North

It is located 10km from town, all tar roads. A magnificent six-arch sandstone bridge, built in 1881, now a National Monument, guards the entrance to the guest house, the self catering rooms were well appointed. Great place if you want to tour the Tiffendal area, off road or as an overnight stop over as I did.
We had a great home cooked breakfast before we left

I concur - stayed there a couple of weeks ago. Great hospitality, and really lovely rooms at a very reasonable price. Heater AND electric blankets!

I heartily endorse this establishment!
