Speeding fines
Where can look up to see if you have speeding fines for any location in South Africa?

Re: Speeding fines
Do you need to register first to read...so they know all your detail, including e-mail address?

Re: Speeding fines
I personally would not like to be in the situation when stopped at a road block that I either have to pay there and then or if I can't, have to wait for someone to bring me money to pay.
Have seen a number of these roadblocks lately where they have on the spot fine payment facilities.
But then, each to their own.

I rather not get burnt at a road block, considering the last trip I was stopped twice by the cops.

Re: Speeding fines
You cannot get nailed at a roadblock if a summons was not issued/served previously. If your vehicles are registered correctly - at the correct address - why worry? If the powers at be are serious to collect their dues I am positive to pay my due. Otherwise let them wait, as they are doing the waiting game.
Re: Speeding fines
I have no problem to be stopped by guys on duty. They are on call and doing a noble job - mostly. The more they stop me the more the other scoundrels get nailed! And I love it.

Re: Speeding fines
Tend to agree with TJ - pay after you have received the summons and after you have signed for it, then keep a copy of the fine and payment in the bike at all times. Their systems might be a bit outdated.

Re: Speeding fines
I tend to pay whenever I get a ticket; they don't nab me everytime, so take your chance, pay your dues ...
Actually went onto payfine's site now to pay a fine for a pic taken of me early December, and it showed an outstanding fine from November which is still in the postal system somewhere !!
