Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
I enjoyed the breakfast last month and quite liked the principle of a BIG brekkie once a month but maybe we should consider abandoning the idea of a combined breakfast once a month??
I had a fair bit of “resistance” from people not necessarily reading this board and therefore not picking up on the change of venue.
Breakfast in the south is open to all – not only BM riders – and attended as such. Most are BM riders and also club members but some are not. Even though I have tried to communicate changes to the “regulars” which is not part of this forum via SMS in the past, there is always someone that doesn’t get the message.
So, if we are in agreement, it will be breakfast as "normal" at Greenfields Mall@Reds for people from the south this Friday (02/10/09).

JR, what you're saying make sense to me. We'll be seeing each other at the club meeting anyway.
So, I'll also be at The Place then.

Had his toe amputated on Monday - have been trying to remove a growth by treatment the last three weeks - no option but to cut it out and because of position there is not enough skin to stitch the wound so they had to amputate.

Well - it gets even better!!
Get to the vet - vet removes plaster and bandage - I'm interested to see what his front paw looks like with his second toe missing....have a look 1..2..3..4?WTF??
Recount - 1..2..3..4. - yep 4 toes? Ask vet wtf???? Apparently during the op there was enough skin to stitch it up so there was not need to amputate!! Talk about communication!! ...but maybe they told Chester and he just didn't tell me so he could have the last laugh....

I'm willing to wager a bet that you are going to get an account from the vet for an amputation...

Re: Every Friday morning breakfast
Perhaps we can shut this down with a comprehensive list of those friendly venues where our members and other friendly riders brekkie on a Friday morning...?
Please just add to the list:
The Place, Menlyn Retail Park S 25 47 14.28 E 28 16 36.78

Why?
why is it problematic to have a thread where all to do with the “breakfast club” – whatever that is – can be communicated ?
.........or is it a no-brainer...........
