I see the calendar is at present only used for birthdays. Could the clubs official calender as we presently do in Excelll format not be updated on this. Also if any member should be planning a ride of some sort it can also be updated here that everybody can get a total picture of the clubs official and not so official itenary for the year. scratch study What a Face

ADMIN understands that a One Stop Service in the Forum would be great, but:
The Club's Events Calendar is on the website - one or two clicks away.

Would also need to be updated after event meetings - double work for someone?

Might be yes.. But I would like to see the website as the platform for Information.
The forum is for interaction and sharing of ideas .. scratch or am I missing something?

Good point there - most members use the website for information - should leave it as such.

From my time as webmaster adding the club rides in the calendar is easy BUT it is a pain in the butt to delete entries at a later date - everything has to be done individually. Updating the spreadsheet format is a copy and paste affair and walla it is done.

True, it is not an issue to update the calendar on the website, but I see it an unnecessary duplication to have the calendar on the forum as well.

Good, glad you can use the calendar.
LeRoy, the link I sent you last night was to the Club's Official Website.
The idea is to visit the website first and from there the link to this forum bounce bounce
