K Koncours from America
Very interesting photos were taken by Shahram Shiva of BMWSuperBikesdotcom of the K Koncours at MOA's National Rally
K1100RS with sidecar which was awarded best of the show
Believe it or not, this K1200RS has 50,000 miles on the clock
K100RS - winner of the K100,75 & 1100 category. (note the beauty standing next to it)

Look at this LT with a side car........of a different kind

Re: K Koncours from America
Excellent - especially the last photo - always wondered what an LT with a sidecar will look like. Seems like the sidecars are more popular in USA than in SA. Have noticed that the Canadians favour hooking up a small trailer to their bikes. Saw quite a few of these combinations in June when we were there. Still an alien thougth to me - rather buy a small car then, as the addition of a sidecar/trailer will completely alter the principles of the bike - it is then no longer a bike in the true sense of the word. Re: K Koncours from America
Thanks Jamie for the pics.
I am always amazed how timeless the K100RS is. It was definitely ahead of its time and remains a beautiful bike !
The K1 still looks like it has come out of a Science Fiction movie !
I love my 1200GS Adventure, BUT the K1200S is still the best bike as far as looks, performance, reliability etc, etc, etc.
I did notice however that all these bikes are standing on CENTRE STANDS !
Except for the K1200S !

Re: K Koncours from America
nah, nothing serious......pretty much a private joke.
Was trying to convince my tall friend that a centre stand does not belong on a K1200S........not meant to be nor does it come with one. He on the other hand fitted one and in the process cut away the bellypan and........if I did not stop him, he would have fitted a top pox with a roof rack on the bike

Re: K Koncours from America
Nothing wrong with a top box and a roofrack - as long as one does not hook up a venterjie - then all is well. The middle stand makes for easier cleaning. Missed it on my R1100S, enjoy it on the K1200LT. Regards. LeRoy
