Near the Modjadji forest is a river called Molototsi. It is wide and flat with lots of sand, rocky outcrop and bush. We often ride it with the 4x4's.

If you are interested I can let you have the coords. Camping can be done anywhere. And there are a few exit points along the way. This time of the year the river is dry... well, most of the way.

But then... If you are going to do the river ride, I might just be taking the Isuzu along cheers

And if you are getting serious about this opportunity, here is some more to wet your appetite.

The route from the "River Entry" to "Dzumeri" is 51km. You do not want do do it all, but then maybe you'd want to Very Happy

Here is the route we will be doing on the Woman's day weekend.

On 7 Aug we will sleepover in Ellisras. Phone Hendra at Lapa Le Le Lodge. 0836001646 To book your room. This is semi self catering. We can take meat along in the back-up vehicle fridge or buy some in Ellisras. Hendra will do some garlic bread/pap and "sous" and they have bar facilities.

And on 8 Aug at Magoebaskloof Restcamp. Here is the info for bookings.
