(R)oad (T)rip with RT
Abe and I collected the new demo RT this afternoon, :heart:This evening (22h00) we made a spur of the moment decision to ride to Clarens, we had considered meeting up with friends coming back from the Mighty Men Confress in Greytown but with 400 000 men attending and heading back on Sunday we decided against it. So Clarens it is, leaving at 10.00am. Wanna test drive this awesome bike and get the full benefit of it. We have not book any accommodation just lock up and go. Anybody care to join us? Call me 083 290 2909 (Sue) Cheers for now

Have a great ride. Am sure you will enjoy it - no wind at all and very quiet! .
Am sure it will be so quiet you will hear the motor purring along...

Re: (R)oad (T)rip with RT
would have been a nice ride - pity only saw it now - will be doing our own RT quite soon in germany - will be renting a 1200RT in the fist week in May. Question then - are you contemplating buying an RT.

Re: (R)oad (T)rip with RT
This is a difficult choice as I have riden a GS for 9 years. I had an awesome ride and it was difficult handing it over to Abe to try. Definately "sheer driving pleasure"LeRoy Olivier wrote:would have been a nice ride - pity only saw it now - will be doing our own RT quite soon in germany - will be renting a 1200RT in the fist week in May. Re: (R)oad (T)rip with RT
Solution - You have the RT and Abe the GS.
The best of both worlds !
Then you can change bikes whenever you want !

That is the best combination, which will probably be followed later by S1000RR.

Re: (R)oad (T)rip with RT
Recipe for happiness:
Keep 1 1200GS
Buy 1 RT
Then later add a 1000RR
You could you not be happy with those in your garage ?
