Ai ai. I'm sorry to be the bearer of sad news.
Chunky's wife, Deidre le Hanie, is in a very bad condition in hospital after complications of a neck operation.
Life sustaining machines were switched off earlier today.
Willie, we think of you and your family.

A few questions comes to mind here - was it an old operation that complications developed afterwards or was it then very recent???????

The operation was done 3rd of March, complications had to do with blood clotting during the operation, thus lack of oxygen to the brain.. then medical induced coma when they realised severe brain damage was done. Doctors are not sure why the blood clotting occurred.
Not exactly sure.. but that's how I understand it...
