Re: Swartberg Pass
I have done that pass some 4 years ago along with a mate of mine but on sports bikes R1 and my ZX9r. It was different but hard on these bikes. ( I do have photo's if anyone questions my trip ) Back to the point and I will be going down to Mosselbay soon and was thinking if anybody knows of any bike rental shops in that area? Is that old aunty still at The Hell?

It was really a great trip and the road is in very good condition at the moment. Not too difficult except for the last 4km down to the valley which has some very tight cornering. Just start early so you miss most of the heat and then allow some time to spend in the valley and visit the Gamkas river. We slept over in Prince Albert at Dennehof - only 5km from the start of the Swartberg pass. The owner of Dennehof, Lindsay is also an avid biker and a good source of information.
Feel free to contact us if you need more information.
