Tools - what to use, where to buy? Empty Tools - what to use, where to buy?

I have visited 4 different shops today looking for a Torx E8 spanner. This is used to adjust the gear shift lever on my GSA - I need to be able to do this regularly to be able to use different boots on the bike. The offroad boots are very bulky, and does not fit under that gear lever. Any help?

I did ask them - they do not stock it, and according to them it is easy to find in shops...

Have you tried Pta Tool Centre in Pretorius Street?
They promise to get it for you if they don't have it.

Bought myself a set of Torq's at the Spares shop in Menlyn Motorcity. One level up from Mean Machine. You can get most stuff from the general spare shops. I usually get special stuff from Silverton Bolt and Nut in Pretoria street, Silverton. Address is S25.73336 E28.29515 Smile

I got a set of Torx male and female that you can use with your box spanner set as wel as a set that look like an allen key set.
Got it all from our local Midas opposite the Kolonnade in Pretoria on the Zambezi drive

Thanks to all of you! I eventually managed to find a set of Torx sockets. Of all places, at Makro...
