When you arrive at Upington you go to the Eiland resort. Sleep 3 with air-con (this place get very hot) for R345-00.
In Springbok you book in at the Springbok Lodge & Restaurant for R325-00 per couple and R200-00 single (this is in high season when the flower are there) Contact Jopie Kotze 0277121321 or sbklodge@intekom.co.za. You can have your meals there and it has a rather nice bookshop, lots and lots of nice old photos on the wall of the history of the town.
There are other places that are much more expensive for those that have to prove something.
In Upington you can stay for as little as R1000-00 per night per person. You can get the Swedish girls detail from Bon. She is pretty, blond and young and own the guest house. We met her in the Namaqua land.
