HID Lighting Empty HID Lighting

Post by KobusJacobs 28th November 2008, 19:38

I have installed a HID lighting system on my R1200GS which I have purchased from Bikegear SA. I am very impressed with the light output of this unit. The only problem is fitting the ballast for the system. I will have to fabricate a proper bracket as this is a bit of a shortcoming on the system. The rest however, is great and I think, a worthwhile investment.

Sorry, but I posted this by accident on the wrong string. The cost for the R1200GS is just about R1100 but is different for different bikes. The R1200GS has got a separate low- and highbeam which makes it cheaper. The combined system is a bit more expensive but still worth the investment.
