For bikers whose wives won't let them ride bikes...

Post by Richard H on 25th July 2008, 22:07

Cool I came across this interesting cage with two wheels for bikers whose 'significant others' are opposed to them riding bikes...santa

...and it is driven by a BMW K1200 motor. Shocked

OK, so when I come to a stop...where do I stick my leg out?

(see http://eco.peraves.ch/ndexe.htm to find out)

Think this will need training wheels when riding in town - will then at least stay upright at traffic lights.

For more interesting models in this line, see another post:

BMW's CLEVER concept:

See http://www.leftlanenews.com/bmws-clever-concept-completed.html

and it looks rather like another earlier vehicle, the Carver:

You dont stick your leg out - as soon as the speed drops below a certain level side wheels are deployed that keeps the bike/vehicle up straight. Believe they eventually plan to develop 2 seaters - sitting in line. Personally speaking - if the vehicle is as safe as the C1 (Indestructible roll cage) this is a good alternative for somebody who wants the freedom of a bike but also the safety of car. LeRoy

If I had the money I will buy them both. At least they are related to our club toys and they will be a lot more fun than the four wheel cages I saw some of our respected club members are driving.
